Youth councils

National Youth Councils bring together diverse youth organisations at the local and national level and represent them towards decision makers, making sure that young people are involved in politics and their needs are considered when decisions that impact on their lives are taken.

National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI)

NYCI is a membership organisation that represents the shared interests of voluntary youth organisations and uses our collective expertise to act on issues that impact young people.

Cyprus Youth Council (CYC)

The Cyprus Youth Council (CYC) has 63 member-organisations, including Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot youth. CYC acts as a platform of exchange and communication between all youth NGOs in Cyprus. It promotes dialogue and cooperation among youth and youth organisations and represents their interest to the state, as well as in European and global institutions.

Austrian National Youth Council (ÖJV)

The Austrian National Youth Council (ÖJV) is the official and legally established representative body of children and youth in Austria. Together with more than 50 member organisations, the BJV is strong voice for the diverse interest and ideas of yourng people in Austria.

National Youth Forum of Bulgaria (NYF)

The National Youth Forum of Bulgaria unites 44 youth organisations in the country. The aim of the NYF is to represent the interests of the youth organisations, their needs and to maintain their role, development and socio-political processes and to be a partner of the institutions.

Spanish Youth Council – CJE

The Spanish Youth Council is an organisation composed by more than 60 youth entities, including other organisations and regional youth councils. The main goal of the CJE is answering the requests and recognitions of young people in their individual & collective aims.
