#STANDFORSOMETHING
European Youth Card Association(EYCA)
#STANDFORSOMETHING is a youth engagement campaign coordinated by the European Youth Card Association and funded by the European Parliament. At its helm are 21 Youth Activists from 16 countries, eager to engage young Europeans in conversations and activities about the Future of Europe. #STANDFORSOMETHING calls for young people to take a stand and voice their views on the issues that matter to them. The initiative also offers the framework for youth seminars, workshops, debates and other activities, which will run until the end of the Conference on the Future of Europe process. A digital special edition of the European Youth Card will be offered to young people, aiming to reach out to non-organised youth to inform them about the Conference updates.
EUth Pages for Europe
GaragErasmus
EUth Pages for Europe is developing a series of activities in order to make the Erasmus Generation have an impact on the Conference on the Future of Europe. How? By involving the international and local communities in the discussions through grassroots events organised by Ambassadors4EUFuture. Particular attention will be given to the peripheries and outskirts of big cities, engaging young people who do not usually take part in debates about the European Union.
The project Next Chapter Europe – Youth Voice on the Conference for the Future of Europe aims at bringing the Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE) close to the young people at the local level through an informative pan-European campaign and discussion workshops. This will include the creation of an exhibition on Europe’s past and future, to be presented on the European Youth event. Participants of the project will be able to talk confidently about the CoFoE and actively express their opinions, this will also be essential during the local consultation of young people. You can find more information here.
Generation d-Liberation
OBESSU (Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions)
Generation d-Liberation is a project that aims at giving tools to school students – in general and VET education – to be able to discuss the future of Europe and the role they want to play in it, with specific regards to the topics they care the most. In order to do that, we will develop a methodology for school student assemblies and will carry out over 60 assemblies in different European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary and Poland), gathering policy recommendations from students and ideas on the future of Europe.
Young Opinions on the Future of Europe
European Youth Parliament
The project “Young Opinions on the Future of Europe” aims to amplify youth voices and opinions on the Future of Europe, and to structurally connect young European citizens. Ultimately, the European Youth Parliament strives to engage youth with and spread the word about the upcoming Conference on the Future of Europe as well as to enable diverse and representative participation. The forging of meaningful connections across European nations and the discussion of political and social issues that European youth find relevant is at the centre of the European Youth Parliament’s mission and so we could not be prouder to actively promote youth engagement with a series of events and projects in 2021 as well as the beginning of 2022, and culminating in the Conference on the Future of Europe in 2022.
